In a slide of Powerpoint you can include a hyperlink that will help you relate a text, image or shape to a file, a web page, an email or another section of the same presentation.
In order to carry out this task you will need to know the step by step that you have to do to insert the hyperlink correctly what do you want in PowerPoint.

Learn step by step how to insert a hyperlink in PowerPoint
The first thing you will have to do is to select the text, the image wave shape you want to link.
Then you will have to follow these steps according to each situation that we show you below:
To a file
Go to the tab Insert and look in the options bar for the group Links. Then click Link so that a window opens in which you can choose the file you want to relate. You will have to choose in the field Search in the location of the document or in the current folder in which the presentation you are working on is located. When you have found the file you will have to select it and then click on To accept.
To a web page
In case you need to link to a web page you will have to do the same previous steps within the tab Existing file or web page, but you will have to click on the function Explore the web. You can find this at the top of the box Insert a hyperlink represented by a magnifying glass and the world. This will open the browser for you to search for the Url what do you need. When you have found the site you will have to paste it in the field Address and then click on To accept.
To a slide of the same presentation or another
In this case you will have to choose the tab Place in this document. This will enable a list in which you can find all the slides that you have created so far. Choose the one you need then click To accept. On the other hand, if you are looking to link a word, shape or image with another presentation, you will have to follow the same steps as you did in the hyperlink of a file.
To a new Office document
When you need Relate a slide to a new Office document to link a slide to a new document Office you will have to go to the tab Insert find function Action, Within the group Links. Next, you must click on the tab Mouse click. Then check the box Run program. Select the button Examine… so that the file explorer opens and you can choose the Office program to access a new document.
To an email address
For embed an email into a hyperlink you will have to click on Link and then choose the tab Email address. Next, a window will open in which you will have to write the email address and the subject. When you're done, you'll have to click To accept.
