Therefore, below, we provide you a complete guide about the components to buy for it, some aspects of interest, the steps to take and how to do the configuration correctly.
What are all the components that I must buy for my gaming computer?
Of course, when assembling a piece-based gaming computer, the most essential thing is acquire all the necessary components for it. Among which, the main ones are the CPU and the GPU, thanks to the fact that they require the performance of any video game on the PC.
But, to learn more about these components and also about the others that are considered essential when you want to assemble a gaming PC by parts, we proceed to mention and detail each of them, below:
Processor or cpu
Basically, it is the element responsible for keeping track of everything that happens within a game, given that consists of the brain of a computer. Therefore, it ensures that all connections work correctly, as well as processing the data it receives. So, for example, if you press a key, the CPU will interpret the action to be performed and execute it.
On the other hand, there are two main specifications that define the capacity of a processor and they are: the number of cores and the frequency. The first of them refer to the number of physical cores existing within a CPU and allow perform more actions at the same time. Now the frequency is what is involved in the number of operations that a single processor core can perform in one second.
Thus, it is claimed that most games depend much more on frequency (clock speed) than on the number of cores, since it is the aspect that influences the amount of calculations that each nucleus can execute per second. So dedicated gaming systems, on average, are often equipped with a quad core CPU and at the highest allowable frequency.
Here are some of the most profitable processors for PC gaming that They are ideal for starting games that require the most power:
- Intel Core i5-8400: Mainly it offers great performance and great price. It stands out for containing 6 cores, a 3.8GHz base clock and 4.0GHz turbo clock.

- AMD Ryzen 5 2400G: It is characterized by having 4 cores along with a base frequency of 3.6 GHz and a turbo frequency of 3.9 GHz.
Graphic card
In conjunction with the processor, the graphics card or GPU is the one is responsible for deciding the power and capacity of the gaming computer. Taking into account that, it consists of the muscle of the team, since it manages to make the necessary physical effort. Therefore, if you have a powerful CPU, you will also have to make sure that the graphics card exhibits the same particularity so that no imbalances.
Also, the Graphic card that you decide to buy for your PC, it will have to fit perfectly with the video games that you want to run and the resolution that you play. For example, if you choose to 1080px resolution, it is recommended to buy a mid-range model. But, if you are going to play 4K, you will have to purchase a high-end model.
For its part, although the graphics card is usually incorporated in the CPU, in the case of gaming PCs it is recommended to buy it independently. Since this way, you will enjoy the games at the quality you want and, in addition, you will be able to better manage your budget. For further help, here is a brief list of the most affordable alternatives on the market:

Later, connect the power supply cables and turn on the system. Once you verify that everything is working well, proceed to remove the graphics card to place everything in the box or tower.
Install RAM
One of the easiest parts to install when assembling a gaming PC, without a doubt, is memory. Taking into account that, it is valuable to select one that offers significant capacity as well as optimum speed and voltage to take full advantage of the system.
Thus, you will simply have to place said RAM memory in their sockets and with your hand, push very hard in the lower direction (that is, down). You can do this from below or from the sides and you have to make sure that both tabs close properly, for which you must listen to a click. Thus, it will already be installed.
If you choose to use a second, third, or fourth additional memory, simply you must follow the same steps that you used for the first.
It's time to put the processor
For this, start by removing the processor from its protective plastic without touching the golden pins seen at the bottom (only some have it). When you have this component in your hand, you can proceed to check the instructions provided by the CPU and motherboard for accuracy.
But, generally, you have to unlock the CPU metal bar and open the bracket to insert the processor. Assessing that, its proper direction is determined by the arrows that are marked on both sides to align it. Done this, just enough close the bracket and lock the metal bar again.
Set the heat sink
Now, you will have to mount the heatsink, which depends on the hardware in all cases. However, the most common is connect it through the 4 holes closest to the processor socket. But, even so, it is essential to follow each and every one of the instructions outlined in the manual for this item, otherwise you could make serious mistakes.
In addition to that, we indicate that it is common use screws or plastic locking pins for this. For example, in the case of a single tower heatsink with two 120mm fans, a backplate will also have to be installed in the rear area and pressed with various nuts and bolts.
After that, with the help of an old credit card, you should spread the thermal paste containing the heat sink. Once your installation is complete, it is valuable to connect the processor fan to the motherboard for power and is relevant orient the heatsink fans out of the case to conduct air properly (Most fans display an arrow indicating the direction in which it is expelling air.)
